Statement of Faith

​This is Camp Eder's Statement of Faith, reviewed by the Board of Directors, reflecting our core beliefs and commitment to spiritual growth. Camp Eder's mission statement is to offer a where individuals can learn to know Jesus Christ through Bible-based ministry in an outdoor environment. We strive create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages connection with God, nature, and one another. Join us as we explore faith, fellowship, and the of creation together! ​

We believe:
•    In the Holy Trinity being God the Father, His Son Jesus the Christ, Lord and Savior, and God’s Holy Spirit.
•    We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, given through the Holy Spirit and recorded in written form for humanity. It serves as our guide for living faithfully, sharing God's love and light, and understanding His plan of salvation for all people.
•    That we all are sinners unredeemed separated from God’s holiness by sin.
•    That Jesus the Christ chose to come to this world, born of the virgin, lived a blameless life, was crucified on a cross and died as atonement for all sin, was buried, descended to hell and on the third day was resurrected then ascended to Heaven to be united with God the Father to reign for eternity.
•    That Salvation is God’s gift, freely given to all who confess their sins, profess their faith that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died on the cross, and seek his forgiveness for their sin.
•    Our lives are to bring glory to God the Father through commitment to His will in Christ Jesus, concluding with eternal life for the believer, or eternal separation from God’s love for the unbeliever."

Rental Policy​

We are pleased to have you join us at Camp Eder. This camp and its facilities are dedicated to the Lord’s work as a Christian ministry of the Southern Pennsylvania District Church of the Brethren. Camp Eder is open to all groups whose practices do not conflict with our Christian beliefs. We reserve the right to refusal. The following policies are in effect and we ask your cooperation in abiding by them.
