Camp Eder Outdoor Schools provides a fantastic 3-5 day rental program available from Monday through Friday, designed for schools, homeschool groups and educational groups seeking outdoor education opportunities. Our facilities and grounds can be rented for either overnight stays or daytime, allowing for immersive learning in a natural setting.

 

Lodging & Grounds

We offer comfortable, accessible spaces designed for fellowship and rest:

• Hotel-Style Lodges (ADA Accessible): Tree of Peace (32–40 guests) and Schwarzenau (32–36 guests).

• Cabins & Dorms: Geigley Lodge (3 dorms, 15 guests each) and 2 Mack Cabins (14 guests each).

• Rustic Options: Wagons, long huts, and tent sites.

• Amenities: Heckman Pavilion, fire rings, and scenic hiking trails. (Details on our Retreat Facilities page.)

On-Site Catering

We handle meal preparation with nutritious breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and outdoor meals so you can focus on spiritual growth and outdoor adventure. (Menu options available on our Catering Services page.)

Faith-Based Mission & Discounts

We believe every youth deserves to experience God’s creation and deepen their faith regardless of financial circumstance. We offer discounts for school retreats to ensure our facilities remain accessible to all families.

Note: Visiting groups bring their own faith-based programming and curriculum during rental stays.

Availability Our retreat center is available for group rentals year-round, except during our internal summer camp (early June through late July).
